I just bought a iPod recently and I really don't like to use the earbuds that came with it. So I want to find some really good headphones for about 50 or 60 dollars. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be most appreciated.
you have to give more information on what type of music you listen to, which type of headphone, open or closed, forward or laid back sounding, portable or nonportable.
check out the first thread you see in the headphones section. "Recommendations for Best headphones on the market (new and old)"
Buds...if you're willing to mod them a little, Sony EX71s are a fave among iPod owners and can be made to sound pretty good. Certainly heads above the stock buds, those things are awful.
I also say SR60. Great sound for the cost, although terrible if you need any isolation, or if sound leakage is a problem. And it's true, they aren't as portable as some phones, although they're fine if you have someplace to put them (i.e. a backpack, etc.).
