Are these portable phones? Where are the Koss KSC 35's and Ety's?

Sony V6... only one that doesn't look too dorky / big, and can be easily driven by portables

The Beyer doesn't just appeal to me at all. it reinds me of a reporter at a sport location in TV - just with a mic to it also. Yes I know it is good - but more-like too professional looking. The only real portable phone that I can say is good a.t.m. is the HD-25, but then again the HD580/600 aren't as big as I thought, so they would be nice too (though zero isolation)

With it's size, the only way the A900 is portable is if you drive to a hotel and listen to it there.

none of the above, if i had to choose though, it would be the v6, the others are just foolish to even consider for portable use.

koss lineups(35,50, porta pros, etc) , etys , shure , eggo D66 , should be there instead of cd3000 , A900

For me I think nothing beats etys and shure for portable listening. Secondly followed by koss and then the beyer dt250-80. The beyer does look very low profile, as opposed to gigantic sony and the audio technica. They attract too much attention and I would usually stay away wearing them outside. Plus how are you going to stuff them into your bag? the cd3000 and a900 aren't foldable
