First of all hi everybody, I'm glad to join the forum.
I have never had any experience when it comes to headphones only ipod's ear-in and notebook's speakers.

My main goal is to listen music, I don't listen to nothing with much bass, generally John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Guns, Bon Jovi, some classic music like bethoven and vivaldi for studying, and some musics that really focus on the vocal.

I'm going to use home mostly, but I like the music immersion that you get when you really feel the music inside your head I guess that immersion comes from the noise isolation I'm not sure.

Which headphone should I get, having $60 as really the top of what I can pay?

Koss Pro DJ100. Very good for the price, some rate it best under $200.

Good mid range for female vocals!

The problem with the Koss is that it needs and amp and OP isn't using one.

Nothing's perfect at $60, but for going unamped with your music, I suggest the Superlux HD668B--if you don't need a closed can, and good luck on getting the CAL! back down into your budget (as it was 5 or 6 months ago)--if you must have closed.

It doesn't necessarily need an amp at all thank you very much!

It may 'benefit' from using one but it's not necessity to run them. I run mine from a Clip+, Cowon S9, ipod Nano just fine when not plugged into my E10.

We'll have to disagree on that.  It sounds anemic out of my iPhone 4.  Check the long thread on the 100 and you will see I am not the only one who disagrees with you.

OP would be taking a risk, he/she doesn't have to take it by simply selecting a more efficient can than the 100--unless of course it could be tested on his/her equipment before purchase (or with an easy return).

Yup, we'll have to agree to disagree.

PS I've read the long thread only two days ago.

All the best.

Creative Aurvana Live! Even with K701's I still use it when I can't lug an amp with me or I need some isolation.

Even without an amp I think the DJ100 is the best you can do. I think the Creative Aurvana Live is no longer $60.
I think the DJ100 can sound good from some portable devices, but deserves an amp. It's pretty good from a Clip+

What you can do is get the DJ100 for $55 and spend an extra $5 and get the Fiio E5 used on Amazon Marketplace. Brings the total to like $65.50.
Saw a used E5 on there for $10.50!

BTW I actually found the Superlux HD-668B to be fairly power hungry like the K240 Studio. I'm not a fan of it's signature, but it's not bad. Pretty clear, but thin mids and fairly V-shaped.
Almost too much treble for me. For $35 or so it's quite impressive if you like it's signature.

I also like the Koss UR-55, but with the DJ100 at $55 it's kind of pointless.

Another hidden gem is the Beyerdynamic DT-235. It's supra-aural, but costs about $55.
