I like my SR-225's or K701's for clarity on vocals, don't really know what streissand sounds like (I'm gonna guess somewhere between "awesome" and "horrible" based on the responses on this thread, based on female vocalists that I listen to (like Tina Turner or Madonna), I'd vote for the K701's before the 225's, if she's got a really high voice, I'd pick the 225's)

No. Much warmer in timbre. Nasally. She's a mezzo-soprano, not a true soprano and not anywhere near a coloratura. Good power, a belter, sings primarily in chest voice. 2 octave range, I believe.

yeah went and found some clips

I'd still stick with K701 for that, the SR-225's are good, but the 701's are a bit more accurate (imho) at her level, although the 225's probably capture the voice alone a bit more directly (the 701's are more "calm" in their presentation)
