Best FPS mouse?

You know higher DPI = not better tracking? :p

DPI is 100% marketing, nothing else.
Very few people use over 3000dpi. and if they do, its cause they dont know better and have in-game sens turned very low.
95% of pro fps players use between 300 - 1000dpi. Lower dpi will help your accuracy & muscle memory.
I used to be a "high" dpi'er myself, till I started playing CS:GO.
Now I use 350Dpi and 800 for desktop.

^ This.

I only run around 1100 dpi max and find I find it's more than enough for me. Everyone is different though and obviously have their own preferences.

More importantly I find that mouse acceleration (whether it be software or hardware/sensor related) is something I just can't live with. It just feels plain wrong to me, and it's a big part of why I went back to using only optical mice.

Yep, my high-low settings are about 800-400 even though the mouse supports well into the 1000's

Mionix Avior 7000
Steelseries Rival
Razer DeathAdder 2013
Logitech G502

These 4 are the best new mices on the market.
The G502 got the best sensor, but weights alot #brodoyouevenlift
Ive owned them all exept the G502.
Tie between Rival and Avior for me.

I'm using an ancient Logitech MX518 rev1, its easily 10 years old at this stage, wore out the right click button playing Battlefield so soldered in a replacement switch and it hasn't missed a beat since.  What more could you ask from a gaming mouse...

I have the Avior 7000, Naos 7000 and G502 on hand alongside my G700 at the moment. I have to say that with my hand size and grip the G502 blows both Mionix mice away in comfort and control. I can't speak to the Steelseries or Razer as I haven't had either.

Interesting, might have to grab a G502 to try out.

For a FPS mouse, I would personally recommend a optical mouse like the steelseries rival I am using. Typically a relatively low dpi is used for fps games and IMO optical mice that I have owned(mx518,rival,m325

) track ever so much better than laser mice that I have owned(sensei,G500). Also optical mice are less picky about your mouse pad/table top than laser ones.
The Rival IMO has the perfect weighting and shape. The buttons are all perfectly placed,

TL;DR I recommend the Steelseries Rival.

Logitech G400.  <---- I've tried a bunch but this is the best mouse I have used.
