I'm looking for some headphones for my new computer. I don't have alot to spend but I would like the best I can get for a little cash. I hope someone can give me some direction because I know very little about headphones. I would use them mainly for listening to music.

At the store I live near they I looked at the Sony MDRCD380 and they seemed decent and within my pricerange. What do you think?

KSC 35 or Sony MDR-V6... Those are two leaders in the $30-70 price range. The 35 is an open headphone, while the V6 is closed (doesn't let too much music out). The V6 is great for gaming while the 35 is one of the most versatile-use headphones ever. You should be able to get the 35 for $30 while the V6 would cost you around $70.

Agree wholeheartedly with utdeep:

Sony MDR-V6 ($69)
Koss KSC-35 ($30)
Koss KSC-50 ($20)

and I would add:

Grado SR60 ($69)

Without an amp, the Senn 495 won't be as good. The Phillips and AIWA models mentioned aren't in the same class as the above phone (IMO).

If you want "the best with little cash" my rec (as always

) is the KSC-35, especially for music. The Sony V6 is the best of the above for computer games, though.
