I can go slightly over $150 if needed. What are the best earphones I can get?

I've looked at the Klipsch Image S4i II's, but everyone says their lacking in bass. I need great song, and good bass. Powerful bass.

I have a pair of ATH-M50s, and the bass is not strong enough on those. Any earphone recommendations? I'll be listening to 320 kbp/s music if that makes a difference.

I have limited experience but I think you should look into theyamaha eph100. They have some great bass presence and have very good instrument separation. Others to look into are the JVC fxz10/200, TDK ie800 and for monstrous bass the atrio mg7... Though I haven't heard these but they are all pretty well regarded.

Sony XB90EX for crazy sub bass, great mids, and smooth treble. If you want more forward highs and more mid bass you can look at the FAD Adagio III or the JVC FX3X.
