Hi, i'm new to this and would really appreciate if someone could help me.

I need comfortable headphones with good sound and less clamping force. Should be light and preferably supra-aural. I need to use it for long hours and since i'm a student i can't afford expensive ones. My budget is around 100-150$

Please suggest something.

Thanks.

If you're in an environment that will allow open backs, I would go for AKG k240s (possibly mkII)

They work rather well with most genres, but it just depends if you don't need isolation and sound leakage doesn't matter

thanks for the response. I did look into the AKG 240s, but they seem rather huge to me. What is the clamping force on these and are they heavy?

Sound leakage is not much of an issue and i don't require complete isolation.

k240s are some of the most comfortable HPs ever, incredibly light with very little clamping force.
