There are many great options in the top-tier closed-back realm; it very much depends on your aural preferences, to be honest.
  • If you enjoy a "v-shaped" sound, the Fostex TH900 Mk2 is the go-to headphone.
  • If you enjoy a musical, yet detailed headphone, the top choices would be be the Audeze LCD-XC, the Denon AH-D9200, the Focal Stellia, and the ZMF Vérité Closed.
  • If you love a darker sound, and you enjoy strong bass, the AudioQuest NightOwl Carbon, the Beyerdynamic T5 (3rd Generation) and the Kennerton Gjallarhorn GH50 are your best bets.
  • If you prefer something that's relatively balanced with a neutral slant, try the AKG K872, or the Dan Clark Audio Ether C Flow 1.1.
  • If you desire a brighter headphone with excellent technicalities, the Sennheiser HD 820 should be your first pick.
