Hello all. Looking for great recordings of a few solo piano pieces I played in high school. I regard these as my crowning musical achievements but never tracked them down.

Chopin "Polonaise Op 40 No 2"
Liszt "Annees de Pelerinage Annee 2, I. Sposalizio"
Charles Ives "Sonata 2, Concord" (I only played the Alcotts movement)
Alberto Ginastera "Sonata No 1" (Rather obscure. I have one recording of this but it's rather bad quality.)

Any links or label/catalog numbers will be greatly appreciated.

Lazar Berman did a quite remarkable complete recording (3 CDs, I think) of the Années for Deutsche Grammophon.
As for the Chopin: there are versions by Heinrich Neuhaus, Arthur Rubinstein, Elisabeth Leonskaja, and - I'm sure - many other great pianists. Shouldn't be too hard to find...
Alma Petchersky did a recording of all 3 Ginastera Sonatas in 1993 and there's also a recording available on ASV.
The Ives Sonata is available from Warner with Pierre-Laurent Aimard.
Hope this helps.

I happen to know Naxos' recordings of Liszt and Chopin's complete solo piano works are highly acclaimed, including the particular pieces you mentioned. At their price there is nothing to risk.
