I want the ear bud style and I do not want to spend much. I was recommended the Sennheiser CX300's. I looked on ebay and saw tons for 10 bucks or so but some for 50+, and they were around 60-70 on amazon. So I assume the cheap one's are fakes. How can you tell and are these the best bang for the buck?

X2...On the go, when Isolation isn't a factor, I invariably grab these. They're just amazing! You can get them from our sponsor Head-Direct.

I love my Yuin PK3s almost as much as my ER6s.

If I didn't always need isolation, I'd use them exclusively. Sadly, the outside world has lots of noise, and the ER6s block that out.

Hm. A dilemma! PK3s let sound in (and conversely make me have to crank the volume up), but the ER6s have cable microphonics. Horrible when the cord hits a zipper, sounds like a damn machine gun going off. D=

The Marshmallows require some burn-in time to reach their peak.

DealExtreme: $3.90 In-Ear Stereo Earbuds (3.5mm Metallic Orange)

They're a little bassy but aside from that, not bad at all, for four bucks at least.

Yeap. Good Deal. DX

Well these Sony's might have 20 at most hours on them, so they are not burnt in either.

Maybe they don't require much burn-in to reach their peak like the Marshmallows, or maybe you'll just always like them better, I'm just saying, I wouldn't be so quick to judge the Marshmallows.
