u can check out the V-Jays..or C-jays...good clarity, balanced kinda sound...not bass monsters.
 
if u want something more euphonic, slightly more intimate sounding...then the philips uptown.

If you are after a budget replacement earbud for a niece or nephew for an ipod the a jays are a good choice.. p.s i don't mean for a dac/headphone amp combo just an ipod..

great choice with the SR80s :D i have a pair myself, still unmodded though. If you feel that the stock pads are a little "itchy", you can try the  sennheiser HD414 pads... (the yellow ones). They fit the sr80s and IMO are more comfortable than the stock ones.
