Hey guys, im really into bass music... I like deep, rumbling “oomph” stuff

sounds like you just need an equlizer ... or better a subwoofer to place next to your head :)

Monoprice 8324 has a lot of bass but the sound quality is awful. I am getting a Monoprice Retro headphone in a few days, I will post brief impressions here.

Taking one for the team. Heard on other forums the 8324 were great but have never tried them so looking forward to the Retro’s impression.

The 8324 is muffled crap compared to the Retro. The Retro is really good for $25. Bass extends below 20 Hz. Who would have expected that for $25 a few years ago? Mids are not recessed and the mid range clarity is pretty good for the price. Treble is just really recessed in its entirety and rolls off a ton, there's basically no treble with this headphone haha.

Hi Absynthe77,

If you can stretch your budget, I suggest Sony MDR 1 AM2.

Hope you have a great day !
