I'd also contact Mikhail from Singlepower. The PPX3-SLAM is a favorite for Sennheiser owners. If you don't believe me, ask sacd lover

Yeah the PPX3-SLAM is great with the 650s.

It isn't listed on the Singlepower website. It is a different version of the PPX3 that uses 5687 output tubes. The 5687 output tubes can output much more current than the 6ns7 tubes.

A PPX3 SLAM is an amp that us tuned such that you can use 5687s tubes on it.

Thank you everyone, you have been very helpful. I will let you know how my untrained ears receive. I went from just checking out a web site, to spending over $2100 before the amp. From cans to a new source, bless all your hearts I am addicted.
