OK, so I don't have any serious cans yet and know almost nothing about AMPS...
I'm about to get the Denon 5000s, and realize that to get the best out of the cans I need an amp, but which one?

My budget for the amp is around $200, (although a bit flexible if it's REALLY worth it . I plan to mainly listen to music through my computer which I have set up with a decent digital soundcard. I listen to different types of music; classical, jazz, rock, pop, vocal, folk, etc...

So, I really need the help of you experts out there - which amp is the better? and why? impedance is 25 Ohms, so how badly do I need amp in the first place? Also, are there any good combined external digital soundcard/headphone amplifiers out there?

I just got the denon 2000s i bought the corda move for it and they seem to work really well together. It is pretty portable even though that is not one of your requirements and it also has a good DAC. Im pretty knew to this whole scene though.

x2
The Move and my D5000's have a very nice synergy.

Are you listening in a portable situation through a laptop or will it be primarily at home?

Actually, both  No. I plan to listen almost exclusively at home, although through a laptop  but I'm set on a stationary Amp primarily...

Sweet! Please post your opinions of the Cantate once it has burned in.
