2. Something (Harrison) - 3:03
3. Maxwell's Silver Hammer (Lennon/McCartney) - 3:27
4. Oh! Darling (Lennon/McCartney) - 3:26
5. Octopus's Garden (Starkey/Starr) - 2:51
6. I Want You (She's So Heavy) (Lennon/McCartney) - 7:47
7. Here Comes the Sun (Harrison) - 3:05
8. Because (Lennon/McCartney) - 2:45
9. You Never Give Me Your Money (Lennon/McCartney) - 4:02
10. Sun King (Lennon/McCartney) - 2:26
11. Mean Mr. Mustard (Lennon/McCartney) - 1:06

13. She Came in Through the Bathroom Window (Lennon/McCartney) - 1:57
14. Golden Slumbers (Lennon/McCartney) - 1:31
15. Carry That Weight (Lennon/McCartney) - 1:36
16. The End (Lennon/McCartney) - 2:19
17. Her Majesty (Lennon/McCartney) - :23

Yep, great Beatles album, but I'd have to disqualify it on the basis that's tracks 3, 4, 5 are absolute junk.

Best album of all time is so hard, but my first still remains a favorite: "Nilsson Schmilsson"

I guess I'm supposed to say either WYWH or DSOTM, but I'm going to be the odd one out and say Meddle. first half is pretty cool, lotsa acoustic guitars, bags of mood, and Echoes rules obviously. very clearly the album that lead to DSOTM.

Dark Side of the Moon is definately such an articulated CD that whenever I'm in a sombre or indifferent mood, it will take me away to another place. It truly is a great album, there is no denying it.

As I look through my CD collection, I find a number of CD's for moods, but no definitive CD's that i would classify as *the* best.

Different moods or circumstance call for difference music. But some CD's that i can put on at any time are:

Stereophonics - Word Gets Around. One of my most favourite debuts by any band.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication. Both rocky and melllow - something you can really roove to.

The Beatles - Sgt. Peppers - Purely for its sheer listening please.

And finally i'd throw in Queen - A Day At The Races / A Night At The Opera. Both have very similar styles, and absolutely killer tracks. "You Take My Breath Away" still makes me feeel something when i listen to it.

Cheers,
Ekwinix

John Elliot Gardiner, Montiverdi Choir/EBS, J.S. Bach, Mass in B Minor.

Or, perhaps, "Aqualung".
