I'll second the Altec iM716 for around a hundred, or the iM616 (puportedly an ER6i clone) for about half that.

If not, some active noise cancelling phones are a good compromise of noise reduction and size although I don't know any other ones besides Bose QC2.

For passive noise reduction headphones, HD280 is the way to go.

If you get the HD280's you must blu-tak mod them. It brings the bass up to a level where you can actually hear it over the din of an airplane.
