Used to have the S4's but they have a poor cable and they broke, and they're about $40 right now, but I want something better. I love thumping bass, a good soundstage, and nice mids. Listen to rock, metal and electronic. Give me some suggestions. Brainwavz M2 is what I'm thinking about right now. Basically just looking for something to hold me in till I have enough money to get some Westone UM2s

Stretch your budget a little and don't stress about buying from HK, and you'll get the best IEM under $75: http://www.ebay.com/itm/290567694646

The GR04 are really good but these are more balanced, same company, Much better bass too.

Okay, how do they hold up against the Brainwavz M2? Are the M2's even that great? I just want a fun headphone, and I'm liking the looks/reviews of the GR04's but I don't know much about them

the M2 is one of the best value in their price-range...
Some other choices include the already-mentioned GR04, GR02, or the most-hyped right now, GR06.....

I suggest you check Joker's Multi-IEM list for reference... huge database...
