Best $100-150 Upgrade for my PC Setup

Well, there are numerous options. The Chaintech AV-710 is very cheap (under $30) and provides very good sound quality. The E-Mu 0404 is a bit more expensive ($80-100), but offers quite excellent quality. Both are very popular around these parts, and for good reason.

They're both excellent choices, though both tend to work better when paired with an amp. In your case, something like the Pocket Amp 2 V2 or the Go-Vibe would do quite well.

I like my Sonica. I listen to my AT A100Ti's straight out without an amp.

Make that "they both require an amp" - the AV-710 does not have any amp circuitry at all at the ch 7/8 output (which is the most desirable) and cans would have to be supplied by the WM8728 DAC, and the E-MUs have too high an output impedance for most cans (in the hundreds of ohms, IIRC). Something like a Prodigy 7.1(LT) / Aureon Sky/Space or Revo 5.1 would have a usable built-in headphone amp but these don't play in the same league as the 0404 when amped.
