i just got the x1. great sound. BUT there is a very tiny bit of static noticeable in less busy tracks (ruth b. songs for example). it's really noticeable during the quiet beginning of some tracks. tho i don't notice it once a track picks up.

A while ago mentioned that I didn't  like the Benjie S5 music player/BJ-49 ear buds. I didn't mean it that way. I just meant I wish I bought the Colorful C3.

I think for the price and quality of sound, you won't get a better deal anywhere else in the world than the Benjie S5 combo.
That's pretty amazing, right?

So far the Philips SHE 3800 and K's 64 Ohm headphones aren't as good as the BJ-49's ear buds. I will keep you updated on the other 20 pairs of phones arriving soon. I need to learn to spend money wisely.

To be fair the Benjie buds, despite the thinnish wires and so-so looks compete with the best budget earbuds out there, they take some beating (if you get 'the good ones'.. there seems to be some variation on occasion)

listening to my s5 with rock zircon + comply tips. the benjie is a bit bass shy on its own, and the zircons just compensate that pretty well. the foam tips make the bass a bit more precise and faster, so it turned out to be a more balanced (though still bass happy) setup than i thought. i can't forget that the whole set cost me like $30. ridiculous value for money.

So, anyone got a pair of blue earbuds with their "Auphil" S5?

Anyone know the model number on Bluetooth one? Does the x1 have Bluetooth?

So far the Qian 39's are the only all-rounder headphone that I have found for the S5. It sounds good with all genres and all forms of files, including bad sounding ones. Buy a pair! Pick up the Qian 25 too, which also sounds good. They may even be as good as the 39's, I just haven't double checked yet.

Just an update, i converted all my songs from 16bit wav to 320kbps mp3 and after 10hrs the S5 still had 50% batt (based on the batt bar). Probably like groucho69 said, the player can last at least 20 hours.

PS: With 16bit wav it could only last for a max of 12hrs
