reply to a 4 year old post...

Well, I love mine!

  • tiny
  • light (22g)
  • excellent interface for a headless player (switch on to resume playback, switch on with no headphones for voice recording, led feedback is well thought out)
  • if you like aluminum you'll like the design (not only beautiful and pleasant to handle, but it doesn't have unnecessary chamfers or bevels, so if you cinch down on a lanyard in the loop, the edge of it actually holds tight, which is great for running)
  • no glitches, no unpredictable behaviour, it just works
  • battery life of only 4 hours (likely decreasing in a few years)
  • quirky charging/data cable that is different from iPod Shuffle cables
  • not waterproof
  • sound quality of a cheap fm radio (on par with the cheapest of players in the world)
  • very slow storage speed
  • voice recording is of poor quality, mono, noisy, and easily clipped
  • voice recording delay of about 9 seconds
