Is there a benevolent amp owner in Milwaukee who owns a recent model headphone amp or two I can briefly audition?

Let me explain.

I've been struggling with whether to upgrade my 8 year old Airhead amp. I'm lusting after Hornets, and Tomahawks, and Headphonias and others. I figure there's got to have been improvements since my amp was made, and several folks have assured me of this. I want it to be true.

But I'm also someone who can't really hear the difference between Apple Lossless and 192kbps AAC. So I worry I'm going to plunk down a bunch of cash, and end up with something not much better to my ears than what I have.

So I'm looking for some kind soul, who owns one of the many cool portable amps we've all been oogling: A Hornet, Tomahawk, Headphonia, SR71, Xenos, Go-Vibe, etc. I know there's a get together planned in June, but that's a long way off.

Is there a benevolent amp owner in Milwaukee out there?

If you want to drive down to Chicago, you can listen to the Headphonia, Xenos 1HA-EPC, RSA SR71 and Tomahawk, Larocco PRII mk 2, Portaphile 2^2, and maybe the Storm P4 if it has arrived by then. My schedule is challenging, but we can probably work something out.

I don't have any portables you mentioned but if you want to listen to a Corda Aria and a SinglePower Extreme, you are more then welcome to stop by. I am in Mequon.
