Just surfing the Benchmark website (was wondering whether Benchmark might introduce an USB / I2S version of the DAC1) and saw this:

Benchmark is apparently offering free replacement with the correct value fuse.

IIRC, this issue has been around awhile, but still a good heads up for the many DAC1 owners.

Just wondering - have you heard anything hinting at Benchmark offering a USB/IS2 interface? At this point, I think the only option is to get the mod offered by Empirical Audio that converts the Benchie to go USB -> IS2.

I think I read some posting about I2S and Benchmark while Googling something else.

Question is essentially speculation.
