u ll find an honest review from a guy on Bose SoundDock..which i think is a joke product at the price when compared to better sounding speaker systems like Harman Kardon Go Play.
i had similar experience at the time when i wasnt even into good audio.
even if it was priced half..i still wouldnt buy it...its so obviously muffled nonsensical.
the problem arises when people like the guy below comment on honest Bose reviews:

It is not supposed to be any kind of reference standard audio device, it is a nifty little box that you plug your iPod in to when you want to fill a room with pretty good sounding audio.
