Hey guys,
I'm new to the forum and think I found the right place to get help with a question I have had for a while now.
I'm a DJ and having an issue with my 2 channel Rane mixer where the headphone volume out level is so loud (and can not be adjusted) I have to send it in eventually to get repaired.
Someone suggested one of these Behringer units to plug the static headphone output of the mixer into so I could then plug my headphones in and adjust using the knobs on the Behringer.
Thoughts if this would work or just blow out the unit since it is in fact an amp. I was hoping to be able to keep the volume knob close to off to effectively lower the volume coming out of the mixer.
When I originally asked about this the headphone volume was at an audible level but shorted. I know the pot is cracked and its almost as if it is stuck on the MAX position so the Behringer ma400 may no longer be quick fix for this issue.
