Can anyone help me with my B2092A - the red input light started coming on occasionally a few months ago (on any volume level) which required simply touching the input and the input light went off no big deal and this seemed to happen once a week or so.

But it then happened more and more until the red input LED just wouldn't turn off at all

-- No subwoofer for me.

So I thought no big deal, looks like the potentiometer is broken, right? -- well, I just replaced the potentiometer and the red input LED still won't come off and the subwoofer won't power

Anyone has any ideas what the problem might be and what steps I could try to take to fix it? -- It is no longer under warranty and I don't thing behringer will appreciate me changing the potentiometer myself

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

It would be difficult to tell without being able to physically diagnose it... If the limit indicator was actually working, it might have indicated that something was shorting out or oscillating, and this problem might have eventually resulted in the subwoofer's death.

Since it's not under warranty, it couldn't hurt to unplug it, open it up and take a look around.
