Hello all,

I thought I'd quiz the hive-mind about a gift I'm considering for my cousin. He *will not* wear a set of 'phones that don't feature the "behind-the-head" design that seems to be popular nowadays.

I'd like to get him something with the fantastic Koss driver that's found in some of their good low-end phones, like the Portapros (which I own). Do the Sportapros features the same driver? They've got the behind-the-head functionality that he's looking for, but I don't have any idea how they sound...

Thanks!

koss ksc55's are cheaper than the sportapro's and sound just as good with the "streetstyle" look.

Do either of those use the Portapro drivers?

Click on the appropriate headphones to see their respective basic specs.

Thanks, but that's where I've been looking already. I see the specs, but none of them tell me whether or not a specific unit (such as the Sportapros or KSC55s) use the same drivers as are found in the Portapros. The Portapro drivers are what I'm really looking for, since they're so exceptional for the price.
