Before I submit my order... here is my new rig

Finally decided on the iRiver H320 over the iAudio X5 and H10 (20gb.) I went with the the EX71 since it has warm reviews and they will be good for portable use (bus, biking in the city, walking, etc.) Thoughts? Criticisms? I'll take 'em!

iriver h320 is an excellent player. I too would pick it over the iaudio x5. I have never tried the sony ex71s, so I wont comment on those.

It seems like you're paying too much for the iRiver H320. You can probably get it for $20 less if you do a search.

Edit: Just realized that it has been discontinued. And knowing how things usually work with these players that price is more likely to jump up then go down. $300 might be the right price then. Though for about $360 you can get the H340.

Oh yeah, just FYI the US verison of the H320 is being discontinued. Don't know if this will change your mind in any way but it's something to consider.

What made you decide to go with the iRiver versus the iAudio? I am considering the X5 and wonder what made you go with the iRiver?

Yeah I know, in fact it was one of the major hurdles that made me reconsider purchasing it.

While the X5 is a tad smaller, the trade off is that the H320 has a bigger and high resolution screen. I also like the GUI a lot more.

I still suggest the X5, while the screen may not be AS good, i dont think its something that will really bother you. Plus the video playback is just awesome. Who knows though, maybe my opinion will change when i get it (hopefully next week!) Its at least worth a good consideration considering its the same price, thinner, has video playback, and just as many great features! But to be honest, i was very close myself to buying the H320 until the X5 came out. On whatever you get, im sure you wont regret it
