I don't know if this is 'old' news - if so, I've only just read it. They can make diamonds from decomposing hair?

If you had the money, you could have your entire body turned into diamond upon your death. It might give "blood diamonds" a whole new meaning.

Dude that is so META. I love it.

Still, I hope they saved some hairs for the DNA cloning. Either that or invent a time machine so I can hear Beethoven school those other pianists at the improv competitions.

Anything with carbon can be turned into a diamond.

One of the first things turned into diamonds during the first experiments I believe was peanut butter.

Thats. Awesome.

I wonder if it would be at all disturbing for me to propose to my girlfriend with a diamond made from my hair...
