Hello, I am trying to find a comfortable pair of headphones that have a great soundstage for mostly gaming. I've had the K702s for a long time now but never really wore them due to comfort reasons. They just feel too big on my head. I recently picked up the HD 598 as a gaming headphone but they just don't compare to the K702s in terms of sound stage and positioning detail. Is there anything else out there in this price range that can hold it's weight vs the K702s?

Yes, try the DT-990 Premium 250 ohm.
They're nowhere near bass heavy and don't have too much treble IMO.
The DT-990 is closer in sound to a bass modded Q701.

I actually sold my DT-990 Premium 250 ohm version I got on sale for $125 because it was too similar to all my other headphones!

There is also the DT-880, but I found them too boring and didn't have quite enough bass for me.

I guess you require open-back headphones. I am in the same situation and currently considering a headphone less than 300 grams for comfort:

2nd hand K712
Ultrasone Pro 2900i
Audio Technica R70x
2nd hand Sennheiser HD700
