During burn-in i noticed that the battery life of my SD is quite short - just about 6 hours.
I let it play for 24 hours with charger connected for 16 hours, so it should be fully charged. I disconnect the charger at about 12pm when I go to bed, and when i go to work at 7am the battery is already empty and the SD is dead (LED still glowing very faint).
I've had about 7 full charge/uncharge cycles already so the batterie should be condititioned for maximum capacity.

How long is battery life on your SDs?

I am getting close to 10 hours with mine. Not sure what the standard should be, but I seem to remember reading that it should be a lot higher than that.

I don't have one (yet) but just wondering, does turning on bass boost and crossfeed reduce battery life?

Excellent question...I would imagine that it does. Since I use both the bass boost and the crossfeed, I expect that it is cutting into the battery life. So based on that, as I mentioned I am getting close to 10 hours. Interested in hearing other feedback on this.

Mine normally goes to 15 hours. Of course, I don't use base boost and Xinfeed. My gear is Creative NX MP3+HD600.

I forgot to mention that i use them with Shure E2. Mybe the very low impedance of these phones results in higher power consumption.
