Bass in hd280?

Just how much bass does the hd280 offer before and after burn in? Would I be better served by the 250-80 in the bass dept?

The HD280's have a nicely detailed, tight bass that can be a bit lightweight through the midbass region but I'm yet to find a headphone that does the low bass as well. I must add that the bass will really start to shine with some decent amplification.

As far as whether you would be better served with the DT250-80 I can't say as I've never heard them.

Bass is crap before burnin, after it's average to good. It's very low, but not overly strong. If you want strong bass avoid it the 280s, and try the 250-80s. My 280s make great gaming cans for my PC.
