I thought this might be fun. Take a look at my last.fm page to get an idea of the type of music I like, and come up with three albums I should get. I have become bored of the music I already have, so it's time for some new CDs.

Come to think of it, this would make an awesome forum game in the future

Hmm

Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever Ago (Acoustic, recorded in solitude in a cabin in Wisconsin. Lonely, yet comforting. One of my favorite records in the fall).
Elbow - Seldom Seen Kid (Definitely a grower. If you don't like it at first, put it away for a few months and try it again. But if you like Radiohead, then you would probably like Elbow.)
Oceansize - Effloresce (A little on the hard side, but similar to Porcupine Tree and Pink Floyd)

I hope you enjoy these. It took me a bit of time to get into them, but they have been 3 of my favorite albums over the last year.  I don't go a week without listening to each one.

Lets get this game started!

Awesome.

Do me! If you're up for the challenge, that is.

EDIT: to the OP, I can only suggest music that I find interesting so...

AOTY for me so far, unless the new Agalloch album kicks as much ass as I hope it will.

Well, Last.fm says we're SUPER!!! compatible musically, so in theory I should just be able to select 3 random records from my most played list.

I'm trying to avoid bands you've got on your top artists list, so I might be going out on some limbs here:

Of Montreal - Satanic Panic in the Attic.  I'm a little tired, so I don't know if the following description makes sense or does the album justice.  To me it sounds like The Beatles went indie, discovered synthesizers and drum machines, then did way too many drugs.

Wolf Parade - At Mount Zoomer or Apologies to The Queen Mary.  Probably my favorite two favorite indie rock albums, and I've been on a pretty big indie kick the last few years.

T. Rex - Electric Warrior.  I noticed that Bowie's Starman is your most listened song, therefore having no T. Rex in your top artists list seems criminal.

Anywho, might as well post my page too.
