I had the X3 and now I ibasso X90, I like their live sound with the X90 but with amplification gain much ground with Oppo listen HA-2, if you want to send me a mail in Spanish and talked.

Interesting.  The big questions here for me are:
 
* What headphones do you normally listen to and like?
* What sort of music do you listen to?
* What volume do you play them at?
 
My good friend hates my SRH-840s and the H6s we heard at the store too, he plays metal at insanely loud volumes.
 
Neutral sounding headphones will usually have more present highs (that's how neutral highs sound, even on my studio monitors), which is why so many manufacturers like Sennheiser and Oppo produce most headphones with warmer rolled off treble for the masses.
 
Burn-in time could also be a factor here too though, but if you dislike them that much, I doubt their entire signature will change dramatically with burn-in anyway, so maybe you should return them if you have the opportunity and go for something that sounds warmer like the Sennheiser Momentum 2s.

Hey guys, so a little more information from me.
 
I spent a long time listening to the H6s at the B&O store here in Melbourne Australia.  They had 4 pairs on demo:
 
Black Leather
Natural Leather
Graphite Blush
I believe the last one was Gray Hazel
 
I'm bad with colours because I'm colourblind but I did try to ask in most cases what colour they were, so please forgive me
 
Both the black and natural ones they had on display had been on the store floor for well over a year while the two limited editions were quite new.
 
I can tell you with 100% certainty that the black and natural sounded different to the graphite and the last one I heard (which I believe was the gray hazel).  They had significantly more bass without much lost at all in the mids and highs.  Their bass response was incredibly deep and prominent yet very precise.  Their bass level was about on par with my Momentum's and it hit quite hard.
 
I asked the folks in the store why they sounded different, and they assured me that they were the same model and should sound identical.  But I listened again and again, and it was completely obvious that the newer models had a lot more bass.
 
I then went to MYER ,a large department store here which also had them available for demo.  This pair also had the extra bass but I don't recall what colour it was (he said it was brown I think?).
 
I'm left a little confused now, because the ones with more bass are quite possibly the best headphones I have ever heard, but I want to be sure I'm getting that same sound with the pair I buy.
 
Another thing I noticed, and I really hope it was just me ... is that there was a bit of an imbalance between the left and right driver.  Seemed as though sound coming out of each was a little different.  I noticed this on about 2 of the demo units (not all).  Sadly I didn't have a mono source to confirm this with certainty.
 
I'm going to ring a specialist headphone store in a moment to ask them about them.

One thing that does bug me with B&O is that the company markets these as a fashion accessory, not an audiophile headphone.  The staff in the store had very little technical knowledge and instead were encouraging me to use their mirror to see how stylish their headphones were.  Their store is in one of the highest end parts of town alongside stores like Gucci and all that other fluff.  Their accessories are ridiculously overpriced and their TVs and other gear are also ludicrously expensive (like STUPIDLY expensive).  Once again, the fella in the store didn't even know what technology their TVs were using (e.g. IPS, OLED .etc).  Their website is also full of posh fashion photos of people with their headphones on.  In summary, I really wish they would target audiophiles too and have some knowledgable technical and more down to Earth staff in their stores.  I clearly didn't fit in there with my jeans and sneakers

* What headphones do you normally listen to and like?

I been listening a lot to the Sony 100AP. Like them very much. It is a bit less warm than my other headphones and have better treble than the Momentum.

Also have the Sennheiser Momentum, which I like a lot, Sennheiser Urbanite which I hate whith passion. Sennheiser One and Zero, headsets, the One is indeed very fine to listen music to.

* What sort of music do you listen to?

Punk, Pop, Metal, but in my Walkman there are over 5000 songs, so a little bit of everything.

* What volume do you play them at?

14-15 out of 30 on the Walkman A15, which everyone says its a wimpy player that lacks power, and 45-50 out of 100 on the FiiO X3, so quite moderate volume I'd say.

I have the Momentum 1.

I never been so offended by the signature of any headphones. These get me nervous, they are so dry and piercing.

zambz, you were probably listening to the DJ Khaled version of the H6.  B&O released this special version of the H6 with different drivers - I have never heard it but it is reported to have increased bass.

Now you've got me curious about my new H6.  I just bought a new H6 last week, in basic black.  Previously I owned the SE blue version, but my friend's shop here had a new H6 with a damaged box and so I sold them my blue version and took the brand new black home.  It sounded somehow better when I got it home than I remember the blue SE sounding, but I assumed that was placebo.  Now I think I'll go back to the shop and do an A-B with my old version vs these new ones.   .   .

I experienced the same thing earlier in the year, I demoed the graphite/blush special edition and they had noticeably more bass than the original models. I also demoed the DJ Khaled models and they sounded different again, similar bass levels to the special editions but more rolled off up top.

Now you've got me curious about my new H6.  I just bought a new H6 last week, in basic black.  Previously I owned the SE blue version, but my friend's shop here had a new H6 with a damaged box and so I sold them my blue version and took the brand new black home.  It sounded somehow better when I got it home than I remember the blue SE sounding, but I assumed that was placebo.  Now I think I'll go back to the shop and do an A-B with my old version vs these new ones.   .   .  

 
Awesome, please do keep us posted!  It's particularly the sub-bass that's a lot louder, not necessarily the mid bass.  In fact, I think the mid bass is a tad recessed on this headphone (or maybe I'm just used to hearing exaggerated mid-bass from the SRH-840s and Momentums and these are brutally accurate)

Damn, that complicates matters further, but it's comforting to know that the Khaled ones sounded different again.  That hopefully rules out the idea that they started using the DJ Khaled drivers in the new standard ones.
 
So today, I went out to yet another store and heard the H6s again.  This particular store had an insanely good price on them too and I was ready to buy them, but I didn't (reasons to follow).  These had been unboxed in the last 6 months (I asked) and they had the extra bass again.  I truly love these headphones, they are so damn wide for a closed headphone, I would say that they are about as wide if not wider than a HD-650 or similar.  It's so spacious and gorgeous sounding, blows me away.  The highs and mids are to die for.  My only reservation in terms of sound is the mid-bass now, is it recessed?  Hard to be 100% sure.
 
Either way, these are the best sounding closed headphones I have heard right next to the Shure SRH-840s.
 
So I planned to go and check out Addicted to Audio in Melbourne and audition the following headphones next week before buying one:
 
* AKG K545
* Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H6
* Denon AH-MM400
* Focal Spirit Classic
* Ultrasone Performance 840 & 860
* Anything else the guy offers me
 
A2A told me they can match the price I found and they have all the colours available (this store only had the blue colour).  I'm very interested in how they compare to the AKG, Focals and Denons in particular.

I was at a2a earlier in the year and demoed most of their closed headphones. Of the ones you listed the I thought only the h6 and spirit classic sounded good however the classics have small earcups and were not very comfortable. Some others that impressed were the momentum 2.0, shure 1540, oppo pm-3, audeze el-8 and beyer t5p. Don't forget to check out jaben as well, they have quite a few headphones available to demo.
