    Hey Guys,
Do we need any special 6.3mm Headphone adapter with the H6 gen2?
I used a generic one and only got (weak) sound on one channel - other headphones work perfectly.

What adapter are you using with them?

    Thank you!

Not all adapters work with mic cabled 4 pole 3.5 mm jacks. All the cheap adapters I used didn't work properly from the start or after a while.
These two work, both are solid built and tight fitting:

Is there any physical external difference at all between the 1st and 2nd gen H6? Like is the size of ear pads slightly larger/smaller, clamping pressure, material of the top headband any different? Or are they exactly the same externally, even earpad size/depth?

Also does the 2nd gen have the same amazzing soundstage of the 1st gen?

I'm considering the H6 v2 as an upgrade over my M50's. how do they compare to the M50s? also this is a long shot but is there any difference from the H6 and the H8 sound quality wise? the bluetooth functionality is something that interests me

I owned M50S and currently using the H6 v1. For me H6 a lot more fun to listen with and less bulky. The H8 is on-ear though, is not comfortable for my ears, so never on my list. However, it is wiresless and has ANC. H7 is another one you can consider if you want wireless around-ear.

Is there any difference sound quality wise between the H7 and H6 both wired?

I never have them side-by-side though. But from what I could remember H6 v1 does sounds better when you drive it a good dac/amp.

Just order my H6's direct from the B&O website! Got them at 35% off since I work for a company that sells them in our retail space. So excited to get them!

Can these be driven properly with an iPhone?

BTW, anyone want to buy a mint pair of AKG Q701's (made in Austria, in black) and K550's??

Sorry, I don't have enough posts to create a thread in the classifieds!

they're ok straight from an iPhone. though they don't play as loud as Sennheiser Momentum (tried both with a 6s and 6s Plus)

As long as they're driven better than the Q701's! I have no interest in carrying around a DAC/Amp.

    no *need* for one
but it would bring everything to a new level

How did you get the 35% off? I work for a distributor too and I want to get that deal

The promo code was specific to my company. I had to enter my work email to receive it.They possibly don't offer it to everybody.

    Hey Guys,
I got the snd generation H6 and I really love them. I use the mostly with my iPhone but wonder how they would sound with a decent headphone amp (Schiit Lyr 2, and Yggy, possibly?) I wonder how they scale with a decent headphone amp? They seem to be driven very well with the iPhone 6.

    Thank you

IME, the H6 v1 (which I understand was harder to drive) benefitted from a better amp than a phone - it got a deeper bass, crisper treble, and the mids opened up. More punchiness and snap to the sound as well - though I don't want to imply that it was fatiguing; it was in fact smoother.
