I noticed that HeadRoom sells Balanced DT880s, but I haven't seen anything about Balanced DT990s.

Has anyone had their DT990s balanced? If so, I'ld love your thoughts on what you heard differently and if it's worth it or not.

Also semi-curious as to the sound of them balanced. Need some convincing that balancing is worth the cost. Maybe we can get deadie in here

My biggest qualm with the DT990s is the cable. It kinks easily compared to my SR-80s...so that's a plus for getting them recabled.

Although, I'm thinking if I do get them recabled I might as well get some custom 600 ohm ones first. Regardless, I need to figure out if balanced DT990s are worth it or not!

Why are you selling them? Less than 50 hours of use...that's not even halfway broken in!

Oh that wasn't your thread you linked. Why buy custom headphones and not give them a chance? Weird

some customs you cant try before you buy. if its not getting any love, you might as well let it go. the sooner the better- otherwise its just collecting dust and decreasing in value.
