Hello guys,
I am currently planning building a balanced beta22.
While I was reading a artical from Rane Sound System Interconnection, I found it indicating that the XLR pin 1 should be connected to chasis ground, not the signal ground as illustrated from the Beta 22 Wiring and Ground section, to minimize the hum.
I am a little confused here or maybe I am just thinking too much.

Pin 1 connects to the chassis on both right and left channels as well as the audio signal.

Here is a wiring diagram I used, AMB approved!
You can wire pin 1 to the chassis via a ring terminal on one of the XLR jacks mounting screws. Repeat this for both channels.

I guess I'll just ignore this issue, coz I also have RCA inputs connecting chassis.
