Mainly, I usually listen with the 5520 mkII on the terrace. And I also think it works best with inputs below 2V. On the other hand, I also agree that the Calderas sound different than usual through the current output. Very transparent, linear, subtle...

Also your DAC voltage preference makes sense given the gain on the 5520 is much higher than the gain on the 5230.

In the next year I would like to buy one Bakoon HDA-5210mk4 to pair with my Sennheiser HD600-650 and HD800. Would like to buy an Enleum AMP-23r but the price in Australia is about double the price which is non-sense at all.

I plan to sell my top of the line one and the 9730D DAC (it is essential to pair the Bakoon devices with the Satri Link connection for a much better sound). Australia and Spain have the same electricity voltage. My devices are in perfect condition, I have them since summer. Contact me if you are interested.
