I sold a bada ph-1 to a memeber here in the past few weeks and it worked perfectly fine when I had it. It amplified the sound and was even more effecient then my ppa. After the buyer received it, he said the it gave no amplification at all and that it degrades the signal. Could this possibly be a sign of a gone out tube? I hope so, because I'd hate for it to be dead. I got ups insurance and it was shipped in its original packaging. The lady at ups actually packaged it. The buyer said it was packaged in one box with bubble wrap inside one box and put in another, but it was loose in the second box. It sounds like it was shipping damage. Will ups honor their insurance policy or are there a whole bunch of unknown stipulations?

Anyway, I am going to refund the buyer's money and see if someone could fix it. Anyone know who I could ask?

Thanks.

[size=x-small]Stop by the house if you like and I will look at it, if you want. Saturday afternoons or weekday nights right here in Delhi. If you do, let me know and I will PM you directions and set up a time. And don't worry, it's probably not to bad.

I don't know. Either way the tubes are soldered into the board on this one. You could just have a loose or cracked weld joint. We can fix that. We can replace the tube and solder it in to once you have a replacement if it needs it.It takes a 6N16B-Q tube.....Good luck finding one. However it still may not need one.

I sold my Bada amp as well, worked fine when I had it. Buyer got it (and it was double-boxed, with plenty of packing), and he reported one channel was lower in volume than the other - though the overall sound was great.

He had posted a request for info, and one reply stated a possible problem & fix. But it would need to be opened to fix, and neither of us wanted to open it. I refunded the money, and ended up telling him to keep the amp anyways, fix it if he could.

But this is the third time, I believe, that I heard of Bada issues. Mine, the one from this thread, and the one from the help request thread when someone else had the same problem mine had.

It's a great little amp, IMO, but maybe the inside is just TOO tightly packed, especially for tubes? Thoughts?
