I like the design and I wonder what the "Micro Porous Filter" exactly is.

B&W are my favorite speakers, so if they can put their sound into a iem, I'm definitely down for it. I would give them a try, no doubt.

Is that a cable that goes through that little loop (from what I can tell from the pics).  It looks interesting.

That filter is to help eliminate leakage. Seems they are partially open in the back. That and with those fairly thick Klipsch-like built in ear guides, I think these will be a love or hate kinda of phone. Maybe more for the DDM, FX/EX crowd that don't mind less iso in exchange for more spaciousness. I am sensing a trend :) as more and more earphones are doing this.

Actually that filter is for soundstage and bass response ala FX700/500. The design seems to be doing a compromise between having an open sound without sacrificing that much isolation.

Reminds of the Bose IE2's with a loop thing for comfort. They don't isolate particularly very well though but I'll reserve my judgement for these until they release here and manage to get a hands on somewhere.

Well,

I'm actually very intrigued by these earphones. However, I don't like the sound of the P5 Headphone.
The Shure SRH-840 remains my favourite, especially in combination with a volume unlocked iPad 2.

But my turbines are falling apart, so I need some replacements soon.

179,- euro retail sounds very nice for these headphones. Maybe I'll give them a try in august!

Regards,

Rico.

It looks interesting. I'm wondering if the cable loop actually would help to alleviate microphonics in the same way wearing over the ear does.

It's a must have for me! Gosh, I was saving for a Shure SE425... and a P5.

Somewhat skeptical, but can't wait to see the reviews pour in on them.
They certainly do look interesting but I don't think it states what kind of driver it uses in the article
