Hi all,

First post on here! Excuse any nonsense!

Basically looking to buy a new pair of earphones. I'm currently using Klipsch S4i, however, really not satisfied with the sound they give. I don't find the sound to be warm, or particularly impressive in the treble/mid-range. (Maybe quite narrow aswell?). Not really sure how to explain!

I'm not too bothered about a big bass, I just want a really big, warm sound that will impress me!

The sort of music I listen to is Coldplay, Red Hot Chili peppers, Michael Buble, Miles Davis (Jazz), Andrea Bocelli (Opera).

I'm really keen on the Shures, everyone seems to rave about them. However, I really do use in-line controls a lot, and don't fancy splashing out on a £40 cable. Apart from that, they seem to be perfect.

I should add, I absolutely loved the sound from the B&W P5, however, I haven't been able to try the C5's.

The choice is between:

B&W C5
Shure 215/315
Sennheiser IE7 (or similar, not really looked into Sennheiser)
Klipsch X10i
(Or any other suggestions!)

Budget is approximately £150.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
