I never had any problem with the H9 volume. And that was even on airplanes

I agree with you guys, there are differences in volumes slightly however I think its music dependent, My rap music can blow my ears if I raise the volume to loud, but as soon as I put on something cultural or orchestral I need to turn it up in order to hear.

Depends on what you listen to I find and how they mastered the tracks. but thats just my opinion. Also depending on whether you are in the EU or not plays a big role since there are laws surrounding volume.

Are there firmware updates in the new update of the app? Mine does not show any available.

My H9i is currently 5.03 and my E8 is at 5.4.0

No indicator unless you are using the Apple Watch app,

But trust me, you will know when it’s on, it’s pretty good.

^ yep, turned it off and cranked the volume slider all the way up (right side).

Have you tried this on Spotify? It’s really loud for me compared to H9 and I take the tube to work almost everyday.

Yep, this was with Spotify and iPX. Some songs were noticeably louder but non of them could "destroy" my ears. I'll give it an intense tryout after the weekend :)
That's actually a good point. I used to listen with Tidal. And now I use Apple Music. Apple music, especially on iOS devices, is much louder.
Maybe I didn't have to sell my original H9s after all.

Sorry there was supposed to be a photo in my previous post. Have you tried changing these settings on Spotify? It gets really loud when I switch to Loud volume level (needs restarting playback for changes to take effect)

Hey guys! Just got my pair today!

I'm finding the highs a bit too high, just curious what everyone's ToneTouch settings are if you don't mind sharing with me. Also is that setting a general setting for all genres of music or do you have different settings for different genres?

Also, @winslord I recalled reading that you had the same issue as me, what's your ToneTouch settings?
