Great meet everyone. A huge thanks to everyone that organized it and was responsible for making it happen!

There was a lot of new equipment to try out this time. I personally enjoyed everything, but I think my favorite was the Meze Empyrean, a dangerous headphone for me to listen to. It's incredibly dynamic, punchy, articulate, and not overbearing in the treble. Love the magnetic pads, ala Abyss style. Why dangerous though? I have a weak spot for planars. I also thoroughly enjoyed the ZMF Aeolus and Verite. The Verite is super fast and quite neutral sounding for a Zach creation. I would easily choose it over the Focal Utopia. I think the Aeolus could be a great fit for my prog metal. Love that mid bass punch and of course Zachs woodworking skill is amazing.

T4 was my favorite amp. It's got some some amazing synergy with my Auteurs. Those Lundahl transformers are amazing. Perhaps someday...

So many other things there... Those were just my highlights.

Here's a quick pimp of the setup I brought, along with some other random pics I took:

My Yggdrasil A2 feeding both Ragnarok via XLR and Leeloo via SE. Headphones are ZMF Auteurs.

BTW, @koover is the undisputed champ of the quantity and quality of headphones that he brought, yet again.

@BzzzzzT with the crazy tube collection for folks to tryout. Amazing collection of pristine 5751s he has.

Loved the food spread! Hope to see you all next time... and some of you at Plini on April 26th!

I s'pose I should chime in here. The meet was great, again, but we were missing several of the 'old guard'. We did, however have quite a few new folks, which is good. Methinks we should possibly rethink having meets in March, mostly because of Spring Training, which drives up room prices.

I do want to give a shout out to tomb from Beezar who provided the new T4 amp, and the upcoming Walnut XDAC. For being no bigger than they are, they both sound amazing. Very simple form factor for those who just want outstanding sound, don't have lots of room, and won't have to mess with rolling tubes, USB ad on's, etc.. Again, please post impressions if you got to hear it.

The software program from Redscape was quite unique and entertaining. Still contemplating a purchase. It also includes the ability to EQ headphones using parametric equalization. Pretty nifty stuff.

(Oh, and Astral Abyss' dad's new Jeep is cool. Me want.)

Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves quite a bit at this meet. A lot of good music and high quality equipment! I had iBasso Audio, Linear Tube Audio (MZ2, MZ3, and their new Z10e tube electrostatic amp), HiFiman (Jade II) and Mr. Speakers (Voce). People came back to listen over and over, which is always great to see.
