I won't argue with that, but for many people who wanted a simple, small, and versatile USB mp3 player... for under $200? This usually doesn't make it under their budget lines but it definitely has now.

The title says Muvo 2, the thread says Muvo TX.

Disregarding that, I was going to buy one of these little guys (the TX) but decided against it. For one, the amount of people saying they die within a year had me put off (especially since you'd then be stuck with what is essentially a large, ugly and expensive flash drive). Second was that it wasn't upgradeable at all, and 256MB isn't very much space.

Anyway, I was going to reluctantly buy one anyway, until I saw the Sandisk Cruzer MP3 player, and if my mailman would get off his fat lazy ass and deliver it (it's apparently been on his truck for 4 days now) I could see if it was a smart move. Man I hate the postal service.
