av710 no sound problem -> anyone ever figure it out?

You know the problem where you open up foobar and play some music...sounds great...but then when you use any other application there's no sound. I already upgraded to the latest firmware on the via site. I think it has to do with the possibility that the av710 may be stuck on 96khz mode?

Its just kinda annoying because I have to restart every time I play with foobar...so I was just wondering if anyone ever found a solution.

If you are using ASIO, I think that's how ASIO works. Not much you can do there.
