Hey guys,

I just got my hands on this card and after hacking up the drivers for proper recognition with the deviceID it was sending I'm all ready to start modding it. I'm bought it mostly for the bit-perfect S/PDIF Optical output to go to a DAC I'm planning to build later, but until that day, I might as well make use of its nice onboard 2-channel DAC.

So, for the mods, I've looked at a few threads and there is one useful one where I was able to identify the electrolytic coupling caps and a few of the PSU caps for the DAC (they're right beside it).

I have a couple of BlackGate NX 47uF/6.3v for coupling, requirement is 2.5V.
I will likely change all PSU caps I can find to Elna Silmic II or Panasonic FM, and probably some tantalums for decoupling.

Also considering adding a coaxial S/PDIF jack, probably not right away though.

Does anybody have any other recommendations?

Thanks.

EDIT: Should have searched better, there is a fantastic thread about this here.
