Definitely one of REM's best IMHO.

By the way, there is also a Dual Disc version out of that album with 5.1 DVD on one side and re-mastered stereo on the other side.

Outstanding! Easily one of the strongest albums I have ever heard, one of my all-time favorites!

there's no such thing as a best R.E.M. album...heck, they made Murmur, Document, Fables of the Reconstruction, Out of Time, Automatic for the People, New Adventures In Hi-Fi and Up, any *one* of which would constitute a career for most bands. No band should be allowed to be that good for that long. But yup, AFTP is a fine album. It's also one of the albums that it's illegal for anyone over the age of 25 not to own; seriously, have you ever gone to someone's house and *not* seen it on the CD rack?
