Hi all,

I want to buy a Video for a friend's birthday but am wondering where I can score a good deal for it. Are there online shops that can offer these players for less (inc. shipping) than retail shops? Or are there specific stores in Sydney that I should check out? I live in the eastern suburbs.

I've never really bought a portable player before so I'm totally in the dark about the 'arts'. Australian-based head-fiers, please help a poor unenlightened soul!

Im not so sure about Australia, but here in my country, apple gives out some educational discount to all full time students and anyone that works in an educational institution...the rates are quite decent if you got no other easily available sources...some recommend to get the applecare(extended warranty) which Im not sure if they are available with online stores...

wow...is this a really good friend or your "significant" friend...
