Thank you for everybody who came out. I hope it was enjoyable for you guys as it was to me. Hopefully we can get another one going for those who were unable to go. The highlights for me were the LCD-2's, HE-5LE, and the liquid fire amp. Anyway, thanks for those who participated and a HUGE thanks to Brian of whetstone audio. It was real generous of him to let us use his place. Maybe you guys can bring him some business so he'll let us use his place again. :)

Here's the official meet information. We are trying to get some details so we can let Brian from Whetstone audio know what he should expect. He hasn't fully said yes yet so I'm hoping if we can get some more concrete details, we can present him with a good offer. So far, the date we are investigating is 4/16. Please reply if you can come and what type of things you can bring. Thanks. I will try to update it daily.

So Brian set out a time for us from 3-6pm so the event is on as of now. He has a Leben cs-300sx we could try out so that is definitely a good reason to come out and participate. The only request that he does have is to bring a 6 pack of brooklyn beer. I don't drink beer very often so if somebody knows where to get it and can get a pack, please do.

EDIT PLEASE READ: For those who are able and willing, please bring a table if you can. We might be short on tables and it is always better safe than sorry. I'm sure it wouldn't be fun to have to listen to stuff on the ground. Also, please bring a power strip if you can just in case we have more equipment than we anticipated. Basically just bring what you would need to use your equipment (power cords, audio cables, etc) so that you won't have to worry about if there are any extras to use.

Count me in.

I'll take the Denon DVD2900->Little Dot MKIVse->Sennheiser HD580

I'll also have the MS1s, SR60's with me, and it's possible that I may have some other goodies.

I've been enjoying the rig above for about 2 years and I'm wanting to explore other things....we'll see what happens

I can make it April 16th.  I'll bring along some of the Avenson Audio Headphone Amps.  I'll see what kind of headphones I can scrounge up.  I have DT770 80 ohm if anyone wants to compare to the 600 ohm version.

I can make it on the 16th as well.

I have an Audio-GD NFB-12 and at the moment the Denon D2000 and D7000. Haven't decided which I'm going to keep. But by then I'll probably only have 1 of the 2.

Very cool !!  As a previous D7000 owner I can say that they would be a welcome addition to this meet, but I'd personally be delighted to check out your Audio-gd NFB-12.

In any case, gear or not, we'd welcome you to the meet & hope to see you there :)

Nice, the turnout is really coming around. I'd like to check out some these Audio-GD combos, too!

Ha, I just noticed the beer requirement.  Is this beer to bring and consume?  Or is he taking our six packs as payment?

I'm not sure exactly what beer he wants, there's a brewery called "Brooklyn Brewery" which you can get at Spec's for sure (I'm 95% sure HEB usually carries on or two of theirs as well).  They have several styles though...

I'd be happy to buy a variety of their six packs and bring em in a cooler for whatever happens with em.  :)

haha yeah he just said that today when i called him. He probably just wants some beer while we're having our meet. He said he wanted a good six pack of beer and told me he liked brooklyn beer. Never had it before so I don't know what to look for.
