First of all, I am not sure if posting here is the right place, but as batteries could be the accessory of an portable amp, I decided to put it here so that more people can see.

I just came back from Coles (Pagewood, SYD) 5 mins ago. Got some 9v Energizer 4 Packs @ ABSOLUTELY INSANE PRICE: $A 4.00 each.

YES, $4 for a 4 pack 9v Energizer batteries expires @ 2012.

I believe the pricing people in coles maybe mis-typed somehow, but I also believe this all affect many coles stores (at least around SYD region) because it is scanned @ 4.00 EACH!

I bought 2 packs because that is all they have, but the very first thing I do tomorrow morning is to go back and check if there are some more

It happens from time to time when someone "stuffs up". I once got a pack of 4 Duracell AA 2500Mah Ni-mh rechargable batteries for $7.99 at Coles because that's what the sign above the item stated !

Let's see how long before someone discovers this mistake ! Great news for those using portable amps though ! I think I'll visit Coles tomorrow lunch time myself !

thanks for the heads up =)

that is the thing I am not sure of. I think the pricing will be effective at least for Syd metro area. But if the mistake is big enough, who knows?
